It’s been a mild summer here in the Pacific Northwest. Sure, it got hot for a few weeks, but for the most part it hasn’t been too bad. It’s been so nice, in fact, that I’ve been able to get outside and boulder almost every weekend. We’ve done a few trips to Squamish, a couple to Leavenworth, but mostly stayed kinda local.
There’s a new guide book out with ton of new areas to explore. And they all look amazing, but there’s one climb that caught my eye: Diamond Engagement. It’s this - well, no. I’m not going to describe it. Here’s what it looks like:
What is that, even!? How neat is that, right? What a crazy awesome piece of rock. And the exceptional thing is that the whole area is like that. Just these incredible quality boulders piled up on top of each other.
That’s just one tiny area. I haven’t even begun to explore other areas. I cannot wait to get out some more and photograph all the incredible things out there.
